About Dr. Timothy Schweitzer

Dr. Timothy Schweitzer is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon licensed to practice medicine in the states of Washington and Oregon. Since 2006, he has served as a hand and upper extremity specialist with Kaiser-Permanente Northwest in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Schweitzer earned his undergraduate degree in zoology and his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. During medical school, he was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He then pursued a postgraduate fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery at the Hand Center of San Antonio. Later, he earned a master of business administration degree from The George Washington University. In recognition of his academic achievements in business school, Dr. Timothy Schweitzer was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society. Currently, he belongs to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Western Orthopaedic Association.
